Our attractive silver birch log nest boxes with open fronts are suitable for many garden birds such as robins, blackbirds, song thrush, wagtails and flycatchers. The thick sides provide good insulation and protection for nesting birds whilst it's natural, rustic appearance makes it suitable for both ornamental and woodland gardens.

The nest box should be positioned 1.5 to 2 metres high on a tree, wall or fence, secure from predators. Face the box between N and SE.

Suitable nesting sites, particularly in towns and villages, are diminishing through development, agriculture and other land uses. By installing a nest box you can provide a safe nesting site and help reverse the decline of garden birds. Watching nesting birds is an exciting and rewarding experience for both children and adults!

To clean or inspect simply remove one screw and swivel the lid.
