Our lovely Forest Nest Box is a multi species nester with several options to suit the needs of many nesting garden birds...

Constructed from natural, untreated and slow seasoned Certified FSC timber from well managed forests.

This Nester has several options to suit many species of nesting garden birds:-

Small entrance hole suitable for Great Tits, Sparrows, etc.

Remove whole top panel with the two screws to create an open fronted box suitable for Robins, Wagtails or Spotted Flycatchers.

Our Ladybird & Lacewing Log is made from chunky FSC certified natural log and timber and is designed to encourage beneficial insects into the garden. Both ladybirds and lacewings are natural predators of garden pests such as aphids and greenfly and so act as a natural pest control.

To encourage these insects, the internal chamber can be filled through the viewing ports on the side with straw for lacewings or bark for ladybirds and other insects. This will provide a valuable, insulated overwintering space as well as a summer retreat for these beneficial insects. Ladybird Food Attractant or Lacewing Attractant can be used depending on the insect to be encouraged into the garden.

Siting: Position the box in a sheltered position in an area of the garden with an aphid problem.
